Stop At: Sassi di Matera, Piazza Vittorio Veneto, 75100, Matera Italy
Meeting with the guide at the accommodation. Day dedicated to visiting the Sassi of Matera and the Murgia Park.The morning is entirely dedicated to visiting the Sassi of Matera where you can discover an incredible settlement in the rock offering anyone who observes them a glimpse of the life of the Matera population from the Palaeolithic times up to the our. Free lunch.

Stop At: Parco della Murgia Materana, Via Sette Dolori 10, 75100, Matera Italy
The afternoon will be entirely dedicated to visiting the Murgia Park. Walk along the path that will make you discover the peculiarities of the place, among caves carved into the rock, cultivated areas and flora typical of the Mediterranean scrub. Furthermore, the Murgia of Matera is located in front of the city of Matera, only the Gravina stream divides the two areas, and what opens before your eyes will truly be an unrepeatable spectacle

Stop At: Cripta del Peccato Originale, Contrada Pietrapenta SNC, 75100, Matera Italy
After a hearty breakfast, we head to the Crypt of Original Sin south of the city. It was the cultural site of a Benedictine rock monastery of the Lombard period. It is embellished with a cycle of frescoes dated between the eighth and ninth centuries, painted by the artist known as the Matera Flower Painter and expressing the historical characteristics of Benedictine-Benevento art.
