Amazing experience! Our tour guide Paul was super knowledgeable, fun and overall a great tour guide. It didn't feel rushed and you spent just the right amount of time at each location - with a chance to take it all in and really appreciate the environment you're in. I personally enjoyed the anecdotal parts of the tour, where Paul would shared his personal and family experiences, which made you feel less detached from the environment you're in and more real, Throughout the tour, I'd observed other tours going on around me and made me really appreciate that I've taken the better tour, suited for me. Overall I'd recommend it and the bus was comfortable. Can't go wrong with this one.Wouldn't recommend this tour; although the tour guide was friendly and personable, several factors made this a less-than-enjoyable experience. Wouldn't recommend this tour; although the tour guide was friendly and personable, several factors made this a less-than-enjoyable experience. (1) The tour guide's fluency in English and how he spoke to us (via an ineffective speaker which distorted his voice) meant that we were unable to learn very much about the history of the conflict between the two Koreas / the DMZ. We felt like it was a missed opportunity - there was so much more we could've learned about this history, but the information conveyed was extremely basic/minimal. (2) you don't need a full day tour - half-day is more than enough. The suspension bridge was neat, but irrelevant to the DMZ history and added several hours. (3) the tour guide makes or breaks your experience. We simply felt that our tour guide wasn't good at his job of communicating clearly or sharing insightful history.SJ did a great job ensuring the group stayed together and the tour kept on course. SJ did a great job ensuring the group stayed together and the tour kept on course. There is a lot of variability in time slots available so be prepared to be flexible on scheduling. The DMZ gets very crowded so go as early as you can (earlier tour). The suspension bridge is lovely and a nice detour to nature but makes the day significantly longer so weigh your options in this regard - do you want a full or half day tour. The company was extremely responsive and supportive and I recommend the tour and team. Our tour guide Paul was just great!
