We were very impressed with our guide Eva, from Norway originally. We were very impressed with our guide Eva, from Norway originally. A compact small group, we were pleasant ly surprised by the lovely buildings, particularly around the Temple area. Also very interesting to be told that many of 5th e locations in London were used to depict York, Wetherby and Ripon. Very clever use of the scenery. Altogether a good solid walk. 😉Did this walk on 9th July with my mum. We are both fans and thoroughly enjoyed the walk. Our guide Michael was informative and a great host. We learnt a lot, even about other historic facts. Great route and would really recommend to anyone that is a Downton fan!

Really enjoyed the walk - was great to stand in various spots around London where Lady Mary, Cora, the Dowager had been acting. Our lovely guide Amber explained the context of each stop on our tour, and showed photos of scenes from the show so we could remember why the characters had been there and re-live the storylines. We took the tour with our lovely, engaging guide Eva - what a delight she was! We took the tour with our lovely, engaging guide Eva - what a delight she was! The tour was close to 3 hours long due to a slight detour because of the London Marathon taking place the next day. Even if you are not a Downton Abbey fan, its well worth coming on this tour as Eva provides lots of information on historical sites that were just as interesting as the Downton Abbey sites. I would love to take this tour again just to soak up all the information she provided. There was a bathroom break during the tour which is very handy. This was an amazing tour that that ended our London stay on a high note. Take this tour - I highly recommend it!!!
