UPDATED REVIEW: I originally gave the company a 3-star review, but Paul reached out to us and made it right. He was very nice and seemed to truly care that we had an unfortunate experience. He checked with all of the vendors and removed the one from the tour that he thought might be the culprit. We really appreciated that he went the extra mile to make things right. Their customer service is spot on! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am so sad I can’t give this company a 5-star review. We really enjoyed the Original Downtown Tour with Bernardo and had a blast trying different foods and drinks while learning a little bit of history. They were even extremely accommodating when we mixed up local time with cruise time and arrived late. Unfortunately, I can’t give them 5-stars because my family became extremely ill after the tour (vomiting, diarrhea, fever, etc.). This was our first stop on a 7 day cruise and it ended up ruining the rest of our “once in a lifetime” vacation. Our tour was a little over a week ago and some of us are still recovering. I did reach out to let them know that we were sick after the tour and they sent me a gift certificate to use, but we can’t use it. The tour was fun and the food was delicious, but we wouldn’t go on it again. The negatives tremendously outweigh the positives. Our tour guide was very nice and very knowledgeable about the restaurants and the town! It was an easy walk between stops. Don’t eat anything before the tour because you will get plenty of food. This was a perfect excursion to get off the resort we were staying at.

Our guide, Silvia, clearly loves what she’s doing and was so engaging that our teenagers never pulled out their cell phones! We love food tours and agreed this was our best one yet!

Miel was very well versed on the local foods, how they are cooked and who owns each location. I highly recommend this tour.
