From the time we met our guides Zack, Debbie and Loki (the dog) we were made to feel as though we were hanging out with friends for the day. Very relaxed and great atmosphere. Walking through woodland, grassy fields, mountain cliffs and little coves on the beach, learning as we went from the early inhabitants of Howth to HG Wells. I couldn't rate it highly enough, a definite must if you are in Ireland.Paul took us on trails known only by the locals. He was kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. Loved the hidden rhododendron forest!!

Conor was amazing! I really got to see the magic of Howth in a way I never would have on my own - the giant rhododendrons, the airy mountaintops, the dramatic cliffs, and the beautiful village. I enjoyed his stories about the local history, from the vikings all the way to the present. He also seemed to adjust based on our interests in everything he was talking about. Afterwards (not included in the tour) we all stopped into the local pub (O'Connells) for a Guinness and chowder and were able to chit chat. Absolutely lovely experience for someone doing the tour on her own. I would not only recommend the tour (and Conor as a guide), but would love to go on another tour with him. Make sure you bring really good shoes, the hike goes into muddy and rocky areas.
