Our guide Eoin was a real character. He was choc full of not just chocolate, but also interesting information. The tidbit that struck me most had to do with Ireland's music history and the harp on the Guinness stout logo... But that's all you'll get out of me! Take the tour to get the whole story...

The tidbit that struck me most had to do with Ireland's music history and the harp on the Guinness stout logo... But that's all you'll get out of me! Take the tour to get the whole story! Eoin also made the tour great fun. In one instance, which again you will have to experience for yourself, he had us engaged in an activity that had the people walking by all scratching their heads in disbelief. Seeing their expressions was almost as funny as watching our own antics! All in all I can highly recommend this fun and informative tour! This was a really fun tour with a friendly atmosphere, I learnt lots about the history of music in Dublin and about a variety of Irish artists and discovered places I'd never been before. I learned about this tour through a friend, and glad to have joined! The tour is free, but tips are appreciated at the end. Our guide, Eoin, was energetic and had some fun activities for us to do throughout the tour including a lip-sync battle (don't worry, it takes place in a somewhat quiet alleyway). He also plays music throughout the walk and then sends you a Spotify playlist at the end. It doesn't feel like you are walking for 90 minutes, and it goes by quickly. If you are a fan of music or just want to learn some interesting facts about Ireland, I highly recommend checking it out! The whole tour is outdoors, so it is great during COVID precautions. I will definitely check out more of Alternative Dublin's events!Highly recommended tour!!Amazing tour on the Irish traditional and contemporary music scene! I really enjoyed it and I learned so many things about Irish musicians! Eoin was a fantastic tour guide , friendly and a real music passionate! Thank you for the little surprises too!
