Fabulous way to spend a Saturday! Julie was really friendly and knew so much about Durham and its history which she told us about on our way round the various stops. I won't go into detail about the various food and drink stops as that would spoil the surprises for others (and they do change sometimes), but we enjoyed several stops at different places around the city sampling different food and lots of alcohol! Don't have much breakfast before you go, you will be completely stuffed. We went back to a few of the places we visited to buy some of the products we had tried. If you're in Durham for a weekend I totally recommend you book on this tour. We have done a few food tours in different places and this one is by far the best value. We did the food tour of Durham with Julie. She was a wonderful host and guide, taking us to the best spots for food in Durham and giving us some history along the way. It was the perfect way to see the city and experience the food scene.

We enjoyed the Newcastle City centre Tour last year so much that when a Durham tour was added we immediately bought a voucher. We met our guide Julie at the market place late morning a couple of days before the coronation of King Charles. The Durham tour consisted of 6 stops. Julie interspersed the food and drink stops with interesting facts about Durham. Without spoiling it for prospective tourers, it's all fascinating and occasionally surprising. Our second experience with Triple A food tours was every bit as good as our first. As well as the Newcastle tour, we still have a tour of Ouseburn and a tour of the Northumberland coast to try. We've already bought vouchers for the Grainger market tour for some friends to celebrate their wedding anniversary.Another fab day out with the brilliant Tripple A Food Tours team! Our guide Julie was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, the staff at all the venues were really welcoming and the quality (and quantity) of the food and drink supplied was exceptional.

We had an absolutely brilliant day with Julia! It was very good of the team to go ahead with the tour, given it was just me and my husband. What a treat to have a private tour of Durham! Julia was fab, she gave us some very interesting facts about the city, we took in all the main sights, and every foodie stop-off was excellent. Thank you for introducing us to so many great, independent businesses (and for accommodating us so well as veggies) - we are already planning our next trip to re-visit! This was a perfect birthday gift for my husband, thanks for making it so enjoyable. We will certainly be booking on future Triple A tours.
