One of the best tour guides I have ever met. Karlo is amazingly passionate about his profession, which makes him an excellent tour guide. I spent around 7 hours with him in Zagreb. He has shown me all the popular landmarks in Zagreb. At the beginning of our tour, he talked about the history of Croatia comprehensively which gave me a feeling that I was gonna learn a lot about the history of Zagreb. Indeed I was right. He provided adequate history and sometimes funny stories of the landmarks that I have seen. I am happy that I did find Karlo. We became friends in a short time. I truly recommend him if you have plans to visit Croatia.Karlo's tour was an excellent way for me to approach Zagreb and Croatia. Karlo's tour was an excellent way for me to approach Zagreb and Croatia. This three hours tour covered the history of Croatia and Zagreb, the highlights of the city, and many interesting facts and anecdotes about the city, some of its famous inhabitants, its culture etc. Karlo is a friendly and engaging guide, easy to talk to, and certainly very knowledgeable—his love for his city shone through all along the tour, which lasted well beyond the three planned hours. After the tour you also get a wealth of local recommendations for food, cultural activities, local wines... very useful! I would definitely recommend this tour to any newcomer to the city!WOW - our day with Karlo was so great!!! WOW - our day with Karlo was so great!!! We started with a super comprehensive history of Zagreb (and Croatia in general, per our request) and from there we went on to walk all over the city, learning all sorts of things about it’s past and present. It was clear from the beginning that Karlo is an expert (he has a masters in tourism) and is incredibly passionate about his profession and his city. He really went above and beyond for us and by the end of the day I felt like we were hanging out with a friend. I genuinely plan on getting in touch with Karlo when I return to the city! He also left us with some incredible tips for the rest of our stay in Zagreb and even sent me some tips for our upcoming trip to Slovenia. So yes, I highly recommend booking a tour with him :)Karlo is very knowledgeable about the history of the area and was an excellent tour guide. I would highly recommend using him if you're in Croatia and are looking for a guide who can craft a tour based on your interests and physical abilities.

We did 2 tours with him, and if we ever come back to Croatia we will contact him for sure! The best sightseeing tour we’ve done so far! Karlo has been amazing and fulfilled all of our needs. It was the perfect combination of getting to know the history of the city (including seeing all the important spots) and great storytelling. Nothing could have been done better. :)
