Edison (Eddie) is a wealth of knowledge and a top notch professional guide. He shares all his knowledge of Cuenca, not only historical but geographical and ecological as well. My family and I were very fortune to have met Eddie and spent these amazing days with him exploring this part of Ecuador. He is punctual, plans his trips thoroughly and lays out expectations . He is accommodating and looks out for the best possible experience for his clients. We hope to visit Cuenca and surroundings regions again and will undoubtedly hire Eddie and look forward to our next visit.I did this tour on the last day of my visit to Ecuador, and it was one of my favorite memories from the trip. I did this tour on the last day of my visit to Ecuador, and it was one of my favorite memories from the trip. The hike up was strenuous (there's a shorter route but I specifically requested the longer route as it encompasses better views), but it was totally worth it because of the stunning views along the hike, as well as at the waterfall. What made the tour even more enjoyable was my wonderful guide - Diego. A huge shout out to him as he's definitely one of the best guides I've ever had during my travels. Diego was extremely attentive and talkative. For anyone that wants to learn more about the history, culture, and landscape of Ecuador, he'll be more than glad to answer your questions. The 3-hour hike felt really short as, during the whole time, we were having a "cultural exchange". Diego was eager to learn about American culture, whilst I wanted to learn more about Ecuador. Upon hearing that I'll travel to Peru via Huaquillas by bus the next day, Diego went the extra mile and sent me a comprehensive list of useful Spanish phrases which helped make the border crossing experience totally seamless. Overall, this was an outstanding tour and a "hidden gem" of Southern Ecuador. I highly recommend doing it!I just want to share my experiences today on our tour with Edison Juka ☺️ It was amazing tour to the Girón Waterfall and Busa Lake So much fun,so much good time ,Edison is a very friendly guy, very kind and good company.Thank you Edison so much ,it was incredible experience 🙂

The tour started at 8:30, when Andres picked me up at my hotel. Andres was very knowledgeable about Ecuadorian politics and the economy and about the history of Ecuador. It was fun and interesting to talk to him and I learned a lot. Our fist stop was at el Chorro, a wonderful waterfall, Then we continued to lago Busa, where we did a tour around the lake. He told me interesting stories about the different plants, flowers and birds. After a delicious lunch we headed back to Cuenca. I can fully recommend this interesting tour.
