I have visited this winery before and it never fails to deliver good wine in a friendly environment. Well done Elderton wines sensational.Elderton Cellar Door held an amazing tasting including a selection of back vintages for comparison in the private tasting room for my wine club. A truly epic experience and a must if you are in the Barossa Valley.

It is very rare to write a review where the words ‘a privilege’ are used, but this is certainly one of them. My partner and I attended the Retrospective Tasting at Elderton with one of the owners Allister Ashmead on 25th Feb 2023. Aside from the wonderful wines and delicious foods sampled on the day, Allister and his Team made the entire trip for us from Queensland an absolute joy. It was warming to hear not only the successes of the family as wine makers, but the trials that come with their entire heritage. Elderton has the perfect mix of nostalgia and family – this was delivered to us at a wonderful tasting experience that both my partner and I agree was a real privilege. Overall the Barossa is a wonderful, honest and comfortable experience – Elderton exemplify this and we look forward to many more trips to their cellar door.
