I can't think of a better way for us to have taken in the Slea Head Drive than this amazing experience. The bikes were easy to use and the corresponding app with the tour guide information made things very straightforward. They let us know we had a window of 4 hours and that the trip on average is 3-3.5 hrs. We finished right at 3.5 hrs. It seems silly, but I was much more comfortable taking that route on a bike than I would have been driving on the narrow roads in a car! Loved every minute of this bike tour! This self guided tour is an absolute "must do" if you are in Dingle! We have driven the Peninsula in the past and thought it was beautiful. This self guided tour is an absolute "must do" if you are in Dingle! We have driven the Peninsula in the past and thought it was beautiful. However, driving doesn't compare to what you see while biking. The views were breathtaking! The cows and sheep seemed within reach and the fields unbelievably green. We did experience some traffic, but the cars were very courteous to riders. It was a 30 mile ride, but it seemed easy with the high quality electric bikes provided. This was unquestionably the highlight of our 8 days around Ireland. Truly the BEST way to see and experience the history, farmland, cliffs, Wild Atlantic Way, beehive huts, famine cottages, and SOOO much more - not to mention the incomparable views from the roadway between the ocean and mountains...
