If only the staff are on site we’re as enthused as the visitors arriving and treated them as the VIPs they should. The staff looked and were completely unenthusiastic and that was evident. It took away from what was a fantastic experience. This is a must for any true Elvis fan. Fascinating tour seeing all Elvis’s childhood haunts and the icing on the cake was seeing his childhood house. The guide was very informative and we had Elvis trivia, films and music to entertain us on the long journey to and from Tupelo.

Such an iconic and historic place—Graceland. It’s a magical time capsule frozen in time from when the King Elvis Presley tragically passed away, it’s how they left it. You can almost feel the presence of Elvis within the home and personal belongings throughout the tour. I’ve been here before 12yrs ago but this time I really took my time to appreciate the tour and my wife who’s much younger than I really enjoyed the tour as well. It has majorly improved since I was here last, has Elvis military uniforms, Dept of Army letters to and from other high ranking officers in regards to Elvis, his vehicle and motorcycle collection, also on exhibit was other famous musician clothing and guitars, also improved was the several fantastic shops for souvenirs and different restaurants (try the Smokehouse). Parking is $10 but plenty of it, trailer friendly —not semis. The tour is $77 for the house, museum, planes and memorabilia. Highly recommend stopping at Graceland while traveling through Memphis. Staff was super welcoming and acknowledgeable.I loved touring the Graceland mansion a decade ago, and looked forward to showing it to my wife. We were both disappointed. I loved touring the Graceland mansion a decade ago, and looked forward to showing it to my wife. We were both disappointed. Their website offered a senior / AAA discount which did not appear when buying tickets online. When I asked today for a refund of the discount, I was told no refund would be given. When I explained the reason to a supervisor, she rudely told me no refund. Another disappointment was the chaotic nature of the tour. You need to go across the street from the mansion and hotel, to start the tour. After you return by shuttle from the mansion, you wander through a series of buildings to see various exhibits. Directions were not obvious; you hit a lot of dead ends. And every other building has a huge gift shop. It seems a disservice to "The King" to have his home, gold records and family memorabilia strewn about. For $77 apiece, you expect more order ... and a refund of the discount. We won't be back. Our VIP tour guide John was the best. He is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. If you visit Graceland and do the VIP tour ask for John. He’s the best!!!
