Antonio was an excellent guide. We got got great information and he held the whole group together well. We enjoyed more wine than anyone could want to drink and some great light food.

Valerio was a great driver...very knowledgeable about the area and was able to make a quick change of plans when our first scheduled stop needed to change. He handled it all with care and concern! I would go again with him on another tour any time!! So much fun! The wine was so good, I ordered a case to have shipped home!!! Cottanera winery was the best ever! They were so accommodating and full of hospitality.Nice tour. It would be better to have a tour in through the whole winery and not only at the balcony. But nevertheless it was great.

We found this on TripAdvisor but my wife booked direct. From start to finish this exceeded our expectations in every way. Massimo was super helpful but our guide Carlos was knowledgable, entertaining, professional and simply the best. Picked up outside our hotel in Catani, Carlos took us to Taormina to meet the rest of our group. There were 7 of us in total and by the time the wine was flowing we were all having a great time. It is of course chance who is on your trip but our group was so much fun. Throughout the drive we were given lots of explanations about the area, the geography and why the area is so special for food and wine. After a short drive of about 40mins we went to a vineyard. Had a tour followed by a tasting. There was no limits and if you wanted more they brought it over. Food was simple antipasti style but that was fine at 11! Following the vineyard we went for another short drive through the foothills of Etna to a agrotourism restaurant. Family run and using great fr ably grown produce. The food and more wine flowed. Quick walk around the vineyard, a shot of limoncello and drive back home. By the end, we had a huge amount of knowledge on Sicilian gastronomy and made some new friends. Loved it and would highly recommend. We are definitely doing one of their tours when we come back.Make sure to start this tour with an empty stomach! Make sure to start this tour with an empty stomach! So much delicious food and wine to taste, coupled with beautiful views over the countryside. However, the best thing about this tour was definitely out tour guide, Denise. She had so many stories to share, so much knowledge about the region and it's history and she explained it in a fun and simple way. She was able to answer any question we had and even some we didn't even know we had. The entire drive she would point out things and explain traditions or local quirks, especially regarding Mama Etna, and it was incredibly fun! Thanks Denise!!
