I went solo and I met 6 amazing people. The guide was nothing other than perfect. He kept us and the wildlife safe and always pointed out and gave a history of the nature things and the everglade wildlife. We experienced it all! Alligators, turtles, snakes, birds and different trees and flowers.

A trip back in time , through Mandgrove tunnels, the sights and sounds of civilization left behind, not knowing what awaits around the next hair pin turn, an alegator perhaps. With Wilson as my guide, a young man knowable about anything we may come across , personable, friendly, ready to take the time to explane and answer questions, and well qualified to lead me on this most excelent adventure. Wilson was a great guide, he perfectly navigated und also was a friendly fella at the campfire.

Saw plenty of gators, some turtles, and learned about the plants and eco system on this easy paced paddle. Would recommend for a different experience!

Signing up for this was easy. Dave was a great guide - his knowledge of the local plants and animals was wonderful and he made all aspects of kayaking feel comfortable, safe and fun. My favorite part was the mangrove tunnel - mysterious green and otherworldly. Wish we'd decided to go to the area where the birds were before dark. It was fun, though, to see all the stars and jack gators with our headlamps. Great introduction to kayaking in Big Cypress and the Everglades. Now I feel confident I can kayak there on my own.
