Exclusive Horse Experience with Pic-nic at Belvedere

You have your own driver for pick up and drop off your place (city center).
Our Pic-Nic offers selected local and fresh products, and you will have this with a very nice view.

What to expect
We are located close to the border between Cunha/Paraty. (Around 45 minutes by car from Paraty entrance).
You will go up the Serra da Bocaina park with some nice landscaping and reach altitude close to 1.300mts high, with very nice views.
Our Experience includes:
* basic riding lessons (for beginners)
* horseback riding within a private property (1h15min)
* horsemanship experience
* Special picnic at the Belvedere
* Local History and Nature.
* Private Taxi fro pick up and drop off (city center)
Total duration is around 5 hours, included the 45 minute drive inside Bacaina Park (both ways).
Pick up in the morning is 9am and afternoon is 12:30pm.
This activity is exclusive for your group or couple, schedules are Not shared.
Minimum 2 and maximum 4 people.
Important observations:
- dress code: long pants and closed shoes.
- please bring repelente, sunscreen and a camera for pics.
- animals have feelings and needs caring.
- in case of heavy rain we need to cancel the booking.
- we wear helmets for the ride.

Had an absolutely wonderful day horse riding, my boyfriend had never been on a horse before and I had some experience in horse riding and It was great for both of us. Raul picked us up from our hostel and he made us feel comfortable and welcome immediately and spoke great English. He took us into the mountain where he has a farm and 10 horses and explained to us about how to ride them. You can tell what a great connection he has with each of his horses who were very well trained and very well looked after, which was lovely. We then had a 2 hour ride amongst the beautiful mountains and Raul kept a close eye on us at all times making sure we were safe. At the end of the ride had some snacks and returned to Paraty. In astonishing natural surroundings in the mountains of Paraty, you find a place with healthy, calm animals and Raul Sampaio who cares for nothing more than treating his horses with respect and kindness. It is rare to find tourist destinations who genuinely cares for the wellbeing and safety of the animals, but here the tours are arranged in small groups, personally and solely guided by an individual who knows every one of his horses, and takes each rider seriously – no matter level of skill and comfort zone. I was picked up by my hostel in Paraty, and from here there was no stopping in chatting and geeking out about equestrian and equine lifestyle. Raul could tell a story about each one of his horses - such a knowledge and skill on the area! As an experienced equestrian it was a pleasure to experience the mountain terrain with such a professionalism and passion for horses. My partner and I had an amazing day with Raul in the beautiful mountains in Cunha above Paraty. It was raining when he picked us up from our pousada in Paraty but driving up to his horse ranch we passed the clouds and enjoyed a bright sunny day. The horse I rode was well trained and very responsive, and easy for a novice like me to handle. The ride through the countryside hills, mountain tops farms and jungle was absolutely beautiful, and it was just so pleasant to ride and converse with Raul who is such a friendly and positive guy--we enjoyed talking with him about horses, Brazil and life in general. This was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Brazil! This is appropriate for all riding levels.
