Fabulous trip out to the peninsula. Good weather conditions - burnt my forehead! Saw lots of birds, dolphins and a minke whale. Brilliant staff helped us into warm clothing and the skipper very knowledgable about the area. A must to do when in Dingle.

A Family Business run to make you feel so special. They filled every minute of the trip, we were out just over 3 hours. It was full of great and interesting information. We were taken into small caves, with great insight on Geology. All the way we were kept informed with sights and history. You are never rushed when getting to the sea life, stopped at the Great Blaskets for the Seals on the Beach. Again a history of the Island and very informative information. Then out to the Cathedral Rocks, spotting and again stopping to get the full experience of Minke Whales, Basking Sharks and Common Dolphins. Finally getting the the Puffins. On the way home again, we were entertained by a pod of Common Dolphins with a Minke Whale keeping them company. As we started our trip, we stopped in the entrance to Dingle Bay where were given a very heart felt few words about Fungie.I booked the rib experience back in 2019 for a May 2020 trip. I booked the rib experience back in 2019 for a May 2020 trip. You know where this is going right? We cancelled our trip and choose to receive a gift certificate rather than a refund. We knew we would make it there eventually. The 3rd booking was the charm! Dingle Sea Safari was so understanding and helpful during all of the changes. I do have to say that it was worth the wait! We had such an incredible time. Our captain was very knowledgeable. I couldn't stop listening to his input and stories. He was wonderful! The rib ride was so much nicer than taking a ferry. We really got into the nooks and crannies while being taught about how the cliffs were formed. We saw tons of dolphins as well as seals on the beach of the Great Blasket Island. I recommend an early trip if you want to see the seals. The last time I was in Dingle it was a little later in the day and there weren't as many seals due to the number of people that had arrived on the island. I seriously could not recommend this more. It was one of the highlights of our trip for us. My dad looked like a little kid taking photos of the land and the wildlife.
