The day with Carla, Rod and Miguel was our favorite day of our Belize adventure. My husband, and 3 year old daughter met them at their stables for a private horse ride through their farm/ jungle along the river. We were introduced to Belizian history, taught about the flora and fauna. Our 3 year old LOVES horses and Miguel was so wonderful with her. We then transitioned to a tour of Xunitunich with Carla. We learned so much about the Mayans at our pace with no pressure. Carla even introduced us to stingless bees! Carla and Rod have children of their own and were perfect with our 3 year old and helping to make sure we all has a wonderful time. St Leonard’s horses appeared very cared for and our favorite am Appaloosa! Thank you for spending the day with us and making our trip so special. We loved this outing! Carla was so knowledgeable about the area and was patient with us as we did not have much experience with horses. The area was beautiful, the horses were well trained and the Mayan ruins were quiet and impressive. We couldn’t have asked for a better time.

My daughter and I did the horseback ride from Leonard's Stable to Xunantunich. Our guides were Joseph and Miguel. We had a beautiful ride through fields to the trail along the river. When we arrived at Xunantunich Rod met us there and he was our guide at the ruins. He was very knowledgeable about the Mayan ruins. Carla was great in answering our emails and setting up our booking. When we got back to the stables Rod had one of the local Belizeans shuck us a coconut and we drank coconut milk then ate coconut meat. It was a nice way to end the day. I would highly recommend this stable. We had a pleasant ride through the area on horses all the way to the ruins. Sunscreen and bug repellant are a must! We seen so much wildlife, iguanas, howler monkeys, other monkeys, lizards, and birds. The guide was great, full of knowledge and made the trip intresting. Highly recommend
