From start to finish, we had a blast and learned quite a bit about making several delicious Moroccan dishes! Michel was highly entertaining, all while keeping things moving along and keeping our group completely engaged. We learned about a number of spices, played at sous chefs, made pastry, a scrumptious tagine dish, and several salad dishes. We took this class the night after our arrival in Morocco, so could easily have been exhausted and out of energy. But Michel lit our engines as we walked through the door, and from there we never tired. Such a fantastic experience, even if you don't cook (which I don't!).Brilliant Moroccan cookery course... collected from our riad, tea on arrival then demo and hands on cooking of traditional Morrocan salads, bread, tagine and pancakes. Brilliant Moroccan cookery course... collected from our riad, tea on arrival then demo and hands on cooking of traditional Morrocan salads, bread, tagine and pancakes. No problem accomodating our mix of egg free, veggie and no fish! Loved it and will be trying out lots of things from today including the new way of finely chopping an onion. We all had a brilliant time. Thankyou xThank you Michel and Ilham for a great day. Very fun and knowledgable couple. Covered a lot of skills and dishes and made probably the best food we had in Morocco. All done in a relaxed farmhouse setting. I highly recommend this course to anyone visiting Marrakesh.

Learning to cook has never been so fun with the warmth and joy the couple would bring in to it. Definitely going again if we come back to Marrakech. Best wishes Katrine and Sean

A wonderful relaxed day cooking and relaxing with Michele and his family. We learnt how to make plenty of delicious moroccan dishes including tagine, bread and lots of side dishes and were kept hydrated throughout with juice, coffee and water so you were never hungry or thirsty whilst you cooked. Incredibly fun and our best day of the holiday to Marrakech. Sitting out nestled in the olive trees after our cooking enjoying a relaxed meal with our group and Michele and family made it feel more like going round to a friend's house for dinner than a lesson, although the skills we have learnt are fabulous and I can't wait to try it again at home. This course was a great way to slow things down, relax, and enjoy some great food during an otherwise hectic few days of sightseeing in Marrakech. This course was a great way to slow things down, relax, and enjoy some great food during an otherwise hectic few days of sightseeing in Marrakech. Michel and Ilham (the couple that runs the course) are incredible at what they do. The course is held in a house on a farm just outside the city, close enough that it's a convenient transfer, far enough out that the surroundings are calm and relaxed. As opposed to cooking classes we've done in other cities that sometimes felt like you were watching someone else do the cooking, Ilham makes sure you are the one performing every step of the meal prep. The results are tasty and I definitely learned a ton. Highly recommended.
