Kaoutar was recommended by another friend and we found her to be excellent. The trip was well planned and well executed at a perfect pace through the city and old town. She, being a resident of old town, was fully familiar with the old town streets and places to visit which is not be possible to do by yourself, due to the complexity of the area. She has a knowledge of three languages, and her ability to speak and communicate in English was excellent. Anyone planning a visit to this place, I would highly recommend her.My parents and I visited Fez for the first time and we were amazed by the beauty of this city. We could really appreciate it thanks to Kaoutar, who was an amazing and well-prepared guide, since she was born and raised in Fez. Not only did she guide us through the complicated tangle of streets in the Medina, but she also made us discover the non-touristy parts of the city.Kaoutar is the person you need to get in contact with if you are willing to explore Fes Medina and surrounds. Kaoutar is the person you need to get in contact with if you are willing to explore Fes Medina and surrounds. She is a female tourist guide from Fes with great knowledge of Morocco's history and culture, very reliable and very friendly. I contacted Kaoutar weeks before travelling to Morocco and we communicated via whatsapp, where she is very responsive and well reachable. She provided me with extensive information on her tours, general tips on transportation around Morocco, and was extremely kind to buy some bus tickets for me in advance, that were not related to the tour (to the desert and to Chefchaouen). She trusted me to pay her on arrival, no money paid in advance. We met for a meal and drinks with her friends on my first day in Fes and she handed me the tickets, the Fes day tour (Medina and surrounds) took place a few days later. I was offered a very comprehensive and informed tour of Fes el Bali (historic old centre of Fes), Bou Inania Madrasa, University of Al Quaraouiyine, Zaouia Moulay Idriss II, Chouara Tannery, among others. With Kaoutar you will navigate the Fes Medina like a local. Her tour was centred on traditional local trades, with lots of information regarding the history, culture and religion of Morocco. I was truly impressed! She also took me to a brass and argan oil manufacture in the old medina, and we had lunch together at a restaurant of her choice. The locals know her by name and welcome her with a smile every time. Later in the afternoon, she called a driver who took us to the royal palace, to a ceramics manufacture outside the city, and then up the hill to a remote city gate for a gorgeous panoramic view of Fes. She also arranged for me a driver for a day-tour tour to Voulubilis, Moulay Idriss, and Meknes. I cannot recommend Kaoutar and her tours enough, and wish her many tours to come!Si vous souhaitez faire une visite de Fez complète, enrichissante, dans la joie et la bonne humeur, Kaoutar est tout simplement LA guide parfaite !!
