This tour was one of the first things we did once we arrived in Bangalore. As a strategy we always book a walking food tour when we are visiting a new place for the first time. Our tour guide was Hareesh and he was fantastic, we were able to go to 3 food places and 2 temples. I would describe this as a food tour/ temple tour. We have breakfast, fruit smoothies, lunch, and Coffee. We had an entire separate experience for a temple tour and Hareesh was more thorough and detailed when taking us to the temples than our other tour guide. In addition to this we were able to talk with Hareesh to get more recommendations for the rest of our trip. as well as taking us to the ATM so we could withdraw cash and finding a bank so we could make change and have smaller bills. I highly recommend doing this tour as soon as you get to Bangalore!Great Tour! Harish is a very friendly and gentle guide, who takes you along very savory dishes, vegetable, fruit and flower stalls. Great Tour! Harish is a very friendly and gentle guide, who takes you along very savory dishes, vegetable, fruit and flower stalls. Has knowledge about the products and the historie of the part of town. He interprets our questions to the locals. We also visit a temple with lots of explanation and invitation to Puja, offering of flowers, candle and fruit. I defeinatly will use 5senseswalks.com when I'm back in Bangeluru and other parts of India.I was very lucky to be the only person on my food tour so had an excellent time with Shekar. I was very lucky to be the only person on my food tour so had an excellent time with Shekar. We went to 3 different restaurants and had delicious Uddina Vada, Idli and finally the best Masala Dosa (I’d had a few dosa’s before this one and can say this is definitely the best). Then it’s a tour around a small food and flower market before having Curd Vada and traditional filter coffee at the end of the tour. The food was fantastic and Shekar was a great guide - knowledgeable about the food and the history of it, the local neighbourhood and food customs. I’d recommend doing this tour as soon as you get to Bangalore so you know what to order for the rest of your time in South India! We did a fantastic food walk in Bangalore with Chandrashekar. He took us to all the marquee restaurants where locals frequent. We enjoyed butter dosa and idli. The filter coffee was the highlight. Chandrashekar was very friendly and passionate about the local cuisine. I would highly recommend it
