Flavors of St Lucia Cooking Experience
Overview
We start this tour by allowing you to see, touch and smell some of the amazing spices that are harvested on our small farm. Prepare a three-course meal with the guidance of our amazing Chef. You can assist the chef or just enjoy as he teaches you the ‘authentic’ St. Lucian style of cooking.
After you have enjoyed the appetizer, enjoy an educational walk through of our farm/garden. Here is where you will learn about various flowers, fruits, vegetables, and seasonings that are grown locally, and used to enhance almost every dish. Journey back to the kitchen and enjoy a tutorial on how to create a local main course and appetizer, both are on the menu of the day! Enjoy a sip of our local spice rum just before you are presented with your certificate during our FUN graduation ceremony.

My wife and I received a private cooking lesson on the ins and outs of St. Lucian cooking. We made Lucian Green Fig & Salt Fish Salad, Jerked Chicken Breast, and Christophine au Gratin. Having each of us help the chef finish the meal was fun, entertaining, and a good learning experience. We have both attended the CIA Culinary Boot Camp in San Antonio but this experience tops that one. I never thought I would like salt fish but this dish was imaginative and down right tasty. The jerk on the chicken was quite different from Jamaican jerk and the St. Lucian variety relies on more taste and less heat. Overall, take a couple of hours away from your hotel and learn some real St. Lucian cooking skills.Wow, this cooking class blew me away! Wow, this cooking class blew me away! A professional chef, a talented bartender, and a friendly hostess all worked together to make this such a special event 👩🍳❤️👩🌾 My wife and I booked this excursion through the Sandals Regency La Toc during our honeymoon. We wanted to try some of the local cuisine, and the three dishes we helped prepare each had something special in them. We even ended the class with some special homemade spiced rum and a toast to life and our experience on the island 🏝️ I also loved that the building they used to host the cooking classes has a "mini-museum" inside with tons of culture and antiques to look over and admire 🇱🇨 Thanks for making this our favorite excursion from the entire trip!It was fun to experience the creation of some of the food dishes native to St Lucia.
