At the end of the tour I showed him a short list of recommended restaurants that were supposedly not touristy. I wanted his opinion . He dropped us off near one on my list , there was a short line but since it was early ( for Italian dinner ) we got in quickly and had a wonderful meal amongst mostly Italian patrons. If we ever get back to Florence and Stefano is still doing this we will go again! My cousin and I wanted a personalized tour and we got it with Simone. Stefano is a wonderful tour guide. So full of enthusiasm for this beautiful city - he knows all the right places to go for views and important buildings. He brings the history to life in an entertaining way. Great being driven about by rickshaw too! Stefano willingly went well over the allotted time without expecting more money. He made us feel so welcome in Florence and as this was our first activity on arriving, it was a great way to get to know the place. He even dropped us at a superb restaurant at the end, when we asked for top tips on veggie eating.
