I loved the trip!!! I think it is very nicely organized! It begins with this beautiful church in the middle of idyllic mountains. Complementing this historic and cultural glance at some of the most traditional emblems of Serbia, the guide, Bojan, gave charming stories about the culture, the history, and all with a personalized touch that makes you feel that you are going with friends rather than in a tour. After the monastery, we visit the caves, beautiful geological formations, full of shapes that inspire the imagination. Finally, we went to the waterfall... unfortunately in November the water flow is not that big, yet, the landscape was worth. And! the lunch around the waterfall... what a lunch! Delicious stew that makes you feel at home, and at the same time embarking on a whole new world. The day was outstanding, no weakness to highlight. However, what I valued the most was, at the end of the day, there were some strikes going on in Belgrade... and you know, any other tourist guide will just not care and wait in the traffic jam. However, Bojan, extremely well informed and always taking care of security, decided to change the route and in the additional villages we crossed, even if it was not his duty, he took his time, gave amazing explanations, showed me even some astonish sides only known by locals. So, even if it was not his "duty", this guide was spectacular and went beyond his task to make sure I have an extraordinary experience of the surroundings of Belgrade :) At the end, I arrived safe to the hotel and with lots of amazing stories to tell to my family.Dragana, the Tour Guide from Serbia Excursions was a fantastic person with lot of knowledge and upto date information on these places. Dragana, the Tour Guide from Serbia Excursions was a fantastic person with lot of knowledge and upto date information on these places. She is an encyclopaedia of data on every subject we opened to discuss with her. She added flavour with fun to the trip, made it memorable. She was interesting to talk to. We enjoyed the monastery, waterfall and especially the cave. We started from the 15th-century Manasija Monastery learnt about its history before heading to the 80 million-year-old Resava Cave. We explored its massive halls, columns, draperies, and flowstone walls. Finally she took us to the Veliki Buk Waterfall, one of the highest in Serbia at 65 feet (20 meters) tall. She recommended to have lunch at Veliki Buk waterfall cafe. The food was tasty and the soothing flow of water in the stream from the fall added flavour to the food. Many thanks to Dragana for making this trip memorable to all of us .. the 3 sweet friendly families ... who were with her in the trip..Dragana was just amazing. A very BIG thank you to her, she made the trip fun, memorable, raising the bar. She was honest, fun and interesting to talk to. We enjoyed the monastery, waterfall and especially the cave, but the best part was driving and talking to Dragana.

Highlight is Milan. He is guy' guy. Superman of Guides. Not to mention safest driver with a kind heart. In terms of sightseeing, it had it all a bit of history (Manasija), adventure (caves) and serenity (Veliki Buk). Much recommend to have lunch at Veliki Buk waterfall cafe. The food tastes even better with sound of falls and nature sorrounding you. And there are kittens and puppies all around, that makes the heaven. PS: let Milan order food. The another amazing day trip I booked with Serbian Excursions . Everything was so good in Trip Manasija Monastery - has their own charm, Beautiful!
