What can I say, this was an amazing hiking experience near San Jose. Transportation was arranged, all meals were provided, couldn't be any easier. If you're looking for a real hiking experience versus a bus walking tour, doticotours is the perfect choice for you.

Absolutely amazing hiking! We were promptly picked up from our hotel at 6 am. We had a nice Costa Rican breakfast on our way to the trailhead. We arrived at the trailhead after about 2 hours. The hiking was through muddy fields and crossing many streams. We went to the Roca Verde first and then to Catarata Germelas and Catarata Celestial. There were over 500 steps on the way to Catarata Germelas and Celestial. Also, the last section of the Celestial must be descended using a rope to get to the bottom of the waterfall. We had lunch at the Catarata Celestial before returning to the car. The hiking was about 6.3 miles with 1220 feet elevation gain. All 3 waterfalls were absolutely beautiful. The experiece was really great. I felt safe the whole time and really guided. The water is amazing and beautiful and the hike was so much fun! Plus they take the best pictures! 👌
