Departure from Marrakesh around 9 am and let you drive to the gorges of Moulay Brahim during a one hour drive. Arrive at the main starting point for mountain hikes, where streams and paths wind in all directions and soak up the beautiful surrounding landscape as you ride on camels. Continue to the Imlil Valley while passing by many Berber villages along the way.
Leave your vehicle in Imlil to enter the village and be welcomed with a glass of mint tea. Continue your trek for two to three more hours and hike up to Armed, the largest and highest perched village in the Imlil Valley. Your hike will then take you to the Berber village of Ait Souka, not without having crossed the path of the hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa and Imoula.
On the road, stop at Tamatert and marvel at the splendid views of ancient barley, corn and vegetable crops surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. After another 30 minutes, you will arrive at the home of a family from Ait Souka, where you can enjoy another mint tea and a family-cooked lunch.

Really enjoyed this incredibly fun and informative trip into the Atlas Mountains. We were collected from our accommodation, transport was excellent and very comfortable, driver was lovely. We arrived in Imlil and Samir gave us a magnificent tour and a good walk around the surrounding villages, showing us the most incredible spots. We then went for a delicious home cooked Amazigh meal at Samir's house. Samir is a great guy, really funny and very knowledgable about the region and his language skills are so impressive! Can't recommend this enough, if you want to see the Atlas Mountains, this is a fantastic experience and they take care of you impeccably! We did a day experience hike in the Atlas, through Berber villages and into the mountains. We did a day experience hike in the Atlas, through Berber villages and into the mountains. It was a fantastic day filled with great learning and fantastic views. Our guide Samir was very knowledgeable and passionate, he shared his wealth of local knowledge and was very engaging in doing so! He knew the area very well and made us feel in very good hands. He is clearly a popular man in the area as he knew all farmers, families and other guides we past. The pace was good for the hike, the lunch was filling and yum! I did this trip as a day experience from Marrakech and would recommend to anyone to use Samir. I plan on returning for a trip specifically to the Atlas Mountains and will be in touch with Samir to sort this! This was an excellent tour!! Spent some time at local markets and towns with some beautiful aight! Highly recommended:)

We had a great day on this tour! The day started with a camel ride in the Agafay desert. We were given lunch soon after. It was a great meal with stunning views of the Atlas mountains. Following this we were given a tour of his Berber village and had the delight of meeting his family. They were very welcoming and were happy to talk about their culture and day to day life. To close the day, we were given a long walking tour of the local area. Our tour guide Idriss speaks spectacular English and is well versed about the village and the area around it. He's also very friendly. I would happily recommend the tour!I really enjoyed the food and the culture. Most certainly our tour guide was incredibly helpful and very kind. The view is astonishing, a beauty of nature. Must take this tour if you visit Marackesh. A good advice to wear something comfortable on your feet.

Todo genial. Recomendable 100%.
