Trip was good, nice boat ride, beaxh, service and lunch. Cheaper than booking directly through the resort. Only problem is they are not organized with the hotel pick up times or answering the phone. Wasn't sure if they were even coming the morning of the trip.

Overall a fun trip - hotel pickup was timely and boat ride to Island was fun but overall a little rough around the edges. Got the vip package but not really worth it. They were friendly and helpful but need a little polish. It may have been the wave conditions on our day but the first snorkel was too far away from the reef so it was a long swim over - if you were a beginner you probably wouldn’t have seen much - tip look for the big dark areas on the bottom- that’s where the fish are, but I think they should have told folks that. Second half of the trip was on the beach on Catalina. You can snorkel off the beach but get your gear early as they may run out. BBQ was ok but also get in line early- chicken was better than pork. Overall a nice day but don’t expect to see a million fish and you’ll have a good time.Started off leaving at 10:50 with a 9:30 departure time. The entire day was eight hours from pick up to drop off. He barely communicated with Snorkelers. They’re only concern was for the scuba divers. They had no guide for the snorkelers as indicated. We would not recommend.

The snorkeling itself is fun, safe and very clear water. The island is interesting too, as it's the only place in the Dominican Republic where you may see a raccoon! Pretty descent lunch and good cold beer!

We came in from a cruise ship and arranged for a late arrival with local owner who after a sketchy taxi ride greeted us and welcomed us to the activity. What a comfort that was since we were already a little concerned about safety following negative media press. They whisked us out to the large catamaran on a small motor boat that I wasn’t sure would make it...but alas another comforting sign was the dolphins that came up along side and swam with the small boat. I could almost touch them... Once on board the larger vessel...seemed all normal and everybody snorkeled. Luckily we brought our own water because the crew seemed stingy with the rum punch and beer at first. Then we had to board small motor boats to get to beach and all of this on and off boats is not the safest especially for those with physical limitations. Lots of chances to fall, slip, or bump against hard surfaces. Once at beach...each tour group was segregated to lounge chairs that were crammed together...again rum punch was served in small Dixie cups and the VIP package only got you a lobster but was offered to other guests at a cheaper price in real time. The Crew Lead tried to make a difference in those on the VIP package vs others but to no avail. Seemed the other crew members didn’t get it. Example, the crew lead says you go first through buffet line...others stopped us and told us to wait then a few minutes later called everyone up that pushed the VIPs to the back...very strange. The flies were horrendous and I saw many throw full plates of food away after 20 or more flies landed on them. Again very stingy with rum punch. The beach was rocky but snorkeling was better than the first stop ..the boats were landing right in middle of beach goers and children playing in water...must be a way to separate the 2 to avoid injuries...I cringed every time a boat would fly in to pick up or drop off hoping no one got clipped by a boat motor. Then it was time to return via small motor boat to larger vessel...another unsafe transfer of people, where it took us back and conveniently stopped right by the Cruise ship to celebrate the excursion which seemed very contrived and the local owner was waiting (thank god) who called for us to disembark first so we weren’t late to cruise. I hope this helps the owner with her business cause she was awesome and I think would not tolerate some of these oversights If she was fully aware.
