Wonderful experience... our guide Alsamo (sp.....sorry) was very knowledgeable and shared so much about Mayan culture and use of flora as we walked through the jungle. The tubing experience was relaxing and impressive. Highly recommend.

They do need to update the description. We didn’t have a picnic (lunch at a nearby restaurant instead—included in cost), and we didn’t stop for a snack & swim before the last cave, and we saw no human remains. Other than that this trip was just great. Karim (sp?) was our driver and he told us all about the countryside as we passed. And it wasn’t just a rote schpiel: I’ve been in Belize for a while and I could ask him questions about the landscape and politics and he’d answer outright or weave the answer into whatever he was describing at the time. Marcus, the guide...I just don’t know if there are enough superlatives to describe his knowledge and his storytelling and his skills. Plus he told us a little about his life and he just seems like a really cool dude. If I was staying longer, I’d want to hire him directly for a longer tour. He was very kind and made us feel safe (I’m a little bit of a nervous nelly). I’d done this trip before in 2014 with another tour company (I don’t remember the name), and this was so much better. Smaller (there were just 4 of us, but the maximum was 8), much better quality of inner tube (the backrest made a huge difference in comfort), longer time on the river, plus we ended with a little swim. I *strongly* recommend this excursion. And I hope that you get a driver and guide as wonderful as Karim & Marcus.Giselle was our tour guide and she is amazing. Giselle was our tour guide and she is amazing. She was very patient; my Mom who is in her 70's was lagging behind a little bit and she carried by Mom's inner tub the whole way. Mayawalk was very accomodating b/c my Mom was sick on the morning of our original scheduled tour and they rescheduled us for the next day with NO penalty and were very kind. We will be doing the tour again except we will probably add the zip lining next time. Also the place that we stopped for lunch was a beautiful open air restaurant and the food was delicious!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!Tubing was a blast. It was great floating along the cave and into the jungle. It is a bit crowded with other tour companies tubing and kayaking. The tour guides at Mayawalk even let us explore the cave and jump into the water.

This was an unforgettable experience! MayaWalk tours had a big part in that. While we saw other groups moving rather quickly, Oscar, our guide, took his time, made sure we got the full experience. He moved at our pace, answered all our questions, he was kind and fun to be with. He made sure all those in our party were comfortable with the activities and he even helped my husband retrieve his glasses that sank down to the bottom of one of the pools. I would 100% use them again next time.We (females aged 40 & 63) recently did this cave tubing trip with MayaWalk Tours. We (females aged 40 & 63) recently did this cave tubing trip with MayaWalk Tours. Booking the tour was easy and they took the time to make sure that they could find our airbnb location that was just outside of San Igancio (we stayed at a Tree House!). Very easy to talk to and email. :) The tour itself was fun --- you first walk through the jungle on an easy trail, crossing the river a few times. Entering the cave while floating on a tube was definitely a first for us! It's an extensive system, and you get off at some points to swim in the cave and walk around. You do a lazy river float for a while after exiting. We ended up going on a cruise-ship day (a Tuesday) but our guide was great to have us wait for the crowds to clear :) The picnic was also nice at the end served with delicious rum punch.
