Excellent day with Jeff , from pickup at our hotel, through his knowledgeable commentary on the trip to Milford Sound and back. Cruise was great, friendly and informative. Jeff stopped numerous times to show us places of interest and take us on short walks to see great vistas. Highly recommended.

As a family ( 2 adults and 3 children 14, 12, 11 years) we did the Fiordland Great Walk package, 3 great walks in 3 days. It was absolutely incredible, for the entire family, teenager and pre-teens included! We all loved it and would do it again. Our guides were exceptional. They were friendly, welcoming, and full of knowledge which was delivered in a way that was interesting and entertaining. They lead the tramps at the perfect speed for all involved and made the days full of fun and enjoyment and device free! The full t three days were extremely well organized and it was a wonderful experience for all of us with many happy memories. I would highly recommend booking with Trips and Tramps for any option they offer. They are outstanding! The rain- the wind- the waterfalls!!! Great commentary, and the Trips & Tramps bus driver was a great source of information, and the packed lunches were great value!

The day of this hike was the only wet day in our 3 day package. When Geoff told us it was imperative to enjoy the rain we were not too sure. Wow! What a beautiful surprise! The waterfalls appeared out of nowhere and were everywhere. Wet feet, yes but all part of the experience. .... he pointed out the native plants and told local anecdotes from the area. On the boat cruise the dolphins appeared and stayed alongside the boat for around half an hour, the seals were basking (if that word can be used ) on the rocks, unperturbed by our presence. The vistas were amazing. The helicopter ride up to the Luxmore Hut was a treat before the uphill walk began. And, the 8kms downhill were hard work but Geoff moved amongst the group to encourage us all on. Rohann took over for the 3rd day of the package on the Routeburn and encouraged us all up that steep track, showing us the native foliage, tasting snowberries and allowing us a breather! All in all, a great experience . Everyone was very professional and we would recommend Trips and Tramps to anyone wanting to have a taste of the wonder of FiordlandFantastic day out with Geoff who had a great sense of humour and tons of Knowledge which meant we got way more than we expected. We will be back “ thank you, your welcome “😃

From being picked up at the front door of our holiday accommodation to being dropped off at the end the day this trip was brilliant. Andrew our guide for the day was informative and kept us all entertained along the way. It was a very rainy day which apparently is the best day to see Milford Sound and it was spectacular!! We ordered lunch from Trips and Tramps too and it was delicious. We would so recommend this trip, it is way better than driving yourself as you get Andrew's 2000 + trip experience. He knows all the spots to stop!!
