The whole trip was excellent. The minivan was small but comfortable and Margaret was a fantastic guide. The stops were all well thought out and it never felt as though you were sitting on the bus for too long. The Moonlit Sanctuary was paradise for the kids (6&9) as they hand-fed kangaroos and got up close to nature, petting a koala (extra charge). The Penguin Parade was just magical, with the walk back to the bus being equally sublime, I think we’ll find it difficult to do another excursion that beats this one. Tip: take plenty of extra layers as it gets very cold on the beach after dark. The experience was fantastic. Margaret our tour guide was fabulous. The stop Moonlit Sanctuary was definitely one of the highlights. Of course watching the penguin parade was amazing b
