Shea has taken me to incredibly beautiful places which I would never have been able to reach or find if I were traveling on my own. While everywhere he took me offered breathtaking views, my favorite is Mamroa Gap. Also, he knows good places for foods, and I had such a delicious bowl of seafood chowder. The Mercedes van was so comfortable and clean. I did several private tours during this holiday in Ireland. His was unique as he had recorded information about histories and the significance of the sites we were visiting. He put together the recording himself, and it offers a lot of interesting insights about the places. Also, having it on clear and loud recording will be very helpful for a small group private tour with people sitting on back seats. I originally booked the Inishowen tour with another company for the date which was a couple of days prior to the day I toured with Shea. Due to some issues within the tour company, that tour was canceled the day before the scheduled tour date, and I was basically stranded. If I did not find Deluxe Tours and Transfer , I would have missed Inishowen entirely. Though Shea was not available on the day I originally planned a tour of Inishowen, he was available on the day I was scheduled to leave Donegal Town for Derry. Though Shea is based on Derry, he offered to pick me up in Donegal Town to start the tour from there and drop me off at the hotel in Derry. This worked out perfectly, a lot better than my original plan. I started my Ireland holiday in Dublin and have been traveling clockwise. I am almost at the end of my month long travel in Ireland, and I have been to so many amazing places. This tour in Inishowen, however, stands out above all the rest of places I visited so far. As I previously mentioned, many places Shea took me would be hard to find and require driving through very narrow and winding roads which are often along the edge of cliff sides. I would highly recommend to leave your car behind and hop onto a luxury van of Delux Tours and Transfer.
