Johnny was an amazing guide, the three of us had a fantastic day. Johnnys van is comfortable and refreshments were supplied. We saw so much in one day, from fantastic coastlines to amazing churches. It was great to get away from the tourist areas - Johnny made sure our day was tailored to us (and the weather!) swapping things around to make sure we got the best out the day. He made a reservation at a fantastic restaurant for lunch - The best mild prawn curry I have ever had. It even impressed our very picky 20 year old son. At the end of the day he took us to a little secret beach he has discovered - it was amazing, I can understand why it was considered a hidden gem. We didn't get back to the hotel until after 7pm. We also used Johnny for airport transfers - he was great - our flights were late at night and early in the morning - our flight on the way out was delayed but he was waiting for us, Very reliable and keeps you up to date on pick up times via WhatsApp. If you are debating on taking a private tour then i would say definitely book Johnny - his historical knowledge is fantastic and the day is flexible to suit you - well worth the money."Johnny" was an incredible tour guide- he tailored the tour to ensure we were able to fully experience the Algarve at it's best. The landscapes were phenomenal as was the food and great company!

Spent a day with Johnny in Lagos and Western cape. Added a cave boat tour per his suggestion to see the rock formation and sea caves in Lagos. It was a beautiful cruising in and around the rock/cave formations offering a different perspective of the coast. Johnny has a wealth of knowledge about Algarve and Portugal in general. He asked about what we are interested to see and do in Algarve and gave us his best advice. He also asked us questions to gauge our specific interests and expectations and delivered what we were looking for. He was professional, polite and very caring. He went above and beyond to make our trip memorable and unforgettable. He also took fantastic pictures of us and provided us a video of all the places we visited after we returned home. We enjoyed our tour in Algarve and definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking about booking tours in Algarve.
