The five star service of cold towels, water bottles, knowledge of everyone involved really impressed us. It is obvious that this is not a one-man show, there is an entire team behind the tour to take care of us and we felt absolutely great! So much so that we booked a second tour the next day!We had a brilliant tour with Iros and Helena around Chania wine region, highly recommend this tour. Easily booked online before we got there. We had a brilliant tour with Iros and Helena around Chania wine region, highly recommend this tour. Easily booked online before we got there. We started with a visit to Maza, taking a coffee in a beautiful old village. We learnt loads about the Cretan wine industry, their place in wine making and local grape varieties. We started at Dourakis and moved onto the Monastery of Tzagarolon and finally spent time walking around the breath taking Monastery after lunch. Best of all we tasted loads of great wine and gained knowledge about food pairing with local grape varieties. A fantastic day - we enjoyed it so much we arranged a private Iraklio tour which they put together for us the following week.Sacred paths wine tour was excellent, drousakis winery was excellent, their wines were very good, similarly the monaster wines were good. I went on the sacred paths wine tour with a group of friends and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Crete. Helena was so responsive to questions by email before we booked and had the tour well organized. Iro was our sommelier for the tour and the group loved her and her expert guiding on how to taste. The small village, the winery, the vineyards, the monastery, and of course the wine and food were all amazing! My daughter & I have been in Crete for 2 weeks and hands down this was our favorite day!!! First class ALL the way! We enjoyed every moment and all of the people we met along the way were lovely. AWESOME experience and day! Helena is the best!
