When on tour in South Africa with a group, our tour company used African Safari Adventures for our full-day open vehicle safari in Kruger National Park. We were able to enter Kruger and begin our discoveries right as the park opened in the morning. Our guide, Heyn, did a remarkable job pointing out and expertly explaining the wildlife and vegetation. Due to our tour group circumstances, there were eight of us in our vehicle. However, Heyn positioned (and repositioned) the vehicle and allowed time so that all of the avid photographers on board could take pictures. He explained which animals we would be likely to see often in order to be able to spend more time at less frequent sightings: a family of African wild dogs, a pride of lions (lion, lionesses, four cubs) relaxing after having made a kill / dragged the victim into the taller grass, and more. We made two stops at the Skukuza Rest Camp during our one-day outing: one during the morning and the second at about lunch time. Heyn mentioned the small museum/library and the ranger dog memorial at the rest camp for those of us who had spare time during those stops, and we found them very interesting. We were grateful for his in-depth knowledge of the areas where we traveled and for his expertise as concerns the fauna and flora. We got to see the big 5. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We think our guides name was Hayn, and would just like to say a big thank you. For making our dreams come true.

This is our 3rd Trip to Kruger and each time used African Safari Adventures for our tours(we have done 6 in all). Tracy makes it a trouble free booking. Adrianne, our guide is always on time to pick up from our door/Hotel. Such an amazing guy. So knowledgeable and makes the tour so exciting. Nothing is too much trouble. I’ve asked him to stop on more than one occasion thinking I have seen something and it turns out to be a rock or a tree trunk etc. All part of the adventure! We have never used any other tour company and never would. These are a first class company and have no hesitation to recommend to anyone and everyone. This particular trip we took our daughter and 8 year old granddaughter. I was a little worried that the tour would be too much for our granddaughter, after all, we are up at dawn and there are no guarantees you will see all the animals you want to. No worries, she was in awe with the adventure, loved every moment and certainly won’t forget it in a hurry. Thank you so much Adrianne for making this a fantastic holiday adventure and thank you Tracy for organising this once again for us. Best wishes to you all.Game Drives from Mala Mala where really riveting.. Best trip we ever took. We saw all of the big five.
