My husband and I recently toured San Bartolome, Chordeleg and Gualaceo with Polylepis Tours and had a great time. Wilson, our English-speaking driver, was prompt, professional and informative on every subject ranging from history and geography to plant identification and local lore. We visited home-based workshops in each town, enjoyed artist demonstrations and experienced a local meal at a busy market. We thought the tour was well-paced and interesting and appreciated the various tips Wilson shared with us. We highly recommend this operator for this tour!Nice tour to Gualaceo, Chordeleg and San Bartolome. Herman, our guide was passionate about the history and legends of the places visited. While is possible to visit on your own ( and cheaper) we recommend using a tour guide. Overall a nice day spent at high altitude!
