The Spanish speaking guide walked very fast leaving the group behind and talking while walking so few could hear what she was explaining. She had no time for questions and was moving the group from place to place quickly so one of the group could make another appointment. She was gracious about taking photos of the group members but did not encourage any interaction among the group. Our guide Napo did a great job guiding us. But the tour wasn‘t organized really well and we had to wait a lot. Overall the trip was ok, but the reason we wouldn‘t recommend it is because the ruins and temples are in a really bad shape.

A big pro for this organization is that one guide cannot guide in more than one language at the same time. So we had two guides on our tour, even when I was the only English speaking person. The trip brings you to several temples around Trujillo. Remember that on mondays the Chan Chan museum is closed, but your ticket of three temples and this museum is valid for two days, so you can visit it another day. The guides know very much of al the sites we we're seeing. The tour not includes the entrance fees, but that is already in the intenary and someting Peruvian, I guess. I really enjoyed the day, thanks to Cynthia, my guide. It is a good tour for everyone, who is really interested in archaeology and the different sights. It is a good tour for everyone, who is really interested in archaeology and the different sights. The tour guide speaks English very well and understandable. What I really have to criticize is the lunch break in between. We didn't have a real choice where to eat, we were just placed in an (more expensive than usual) restaurant, where the atmosphere and food were bad. For my taste, the whole tour was way too touristic. The tour was good and well organised. I really appreciated the quick reply to my booking request, which took place the evening before the tour date.

Cruise line was inflexible about pick up and drop offs, but Julio worked with us to make the most of a short day. We talked on Whatsapp from the ship the night before the tour and he rearranged the day to make the most of the time we had. His English was excellent and he provided a custom private tour for less than half what the boat was charging. Well worth the time!
