This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Perito Moreno Glacier, Los Glaciares National Park Argentina
The best known and most impressive glacier in Los Glaciares National Park.
This glacier shows a surprising and curious phenomenon, in which its great mass of ice continuously advances, causing the accumulation, rupture and detachment of gigantic blocks of ice on its 5 km wide front, located on the Canal de los Témpanos; that's where the numerous ice fragments of the glacier sail.
The front of the glacier exceeds 60 meters above the water at its maximum height, from where pieces of various sizes fall continuously, producing a stridency comparable to the sound of thunder.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Pasarelas Perito Moreno, Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, El Calafate 9405 Argentina
Upon reaching the Perito Moreno Glacier, we will cross the walkways that have balconies at different levels and angles connected by paths and stairways which can be covered in its entirety during the excursion and thus we will be able to appreciate this impressive and wonderful glacier from different points.

I really enjoyed this tour. The guide was very informed. The boat trip was first for a great up-close view of the glacier. Then we had enough free time at the north side viewpoints to have lunch and hike to many viewpoints.

Excellent pre-trip communication, prompt pick-up, friendly and informative guide (Natalie?) with great tips and maneuvers to navigate all activities smoothly and efficiently. The glacier totally delivered too - it was magnificent and I got to witness a pretty major break-off (calving) that was awesome! I recommend you bring layers, wear sunscreen even if it's cloudy and chilly, and take snacks/box lunch and spend the time you have to walk all the catwalks instead of time buying/eating food there. They're different and all have their own special views.we had a small group trip which strted by driving on the old dirt road from El Calafate. we had a small group trip which strted by driving on the old dirt road from El Calafate. This was much better than the rushed trip oto the galcier and back. By going as the pioneers went we passed the historic site of a massacre of Gauchos at Estancia Anita followed by a stop ofr an excellent lunch at Est Nibepo. This was the best lunch of our holiday. The trip then went down to the lake with a 30 min boat ride , a half hour walk through the woods (optional) and a trip in the boat under the mouth of the glacier ( min 300m from the ice). Other tripsd just do the quick boat ride and the rest of the tour which was to the excellent and beautifully designed viewing point followed by a drive back to El Calafate on the main road.An excellent tour with Nadia of the Pietro Moreno Glacier. The North and South faces remind one of "The Wall" from The Game of Thrones. The boat ride is worth it to see the glacier up close and, if one's lucky, to see pieces calf into the lake . An excellent tour with Nadia of the Pietro Moreno Glacier. The North and South faces remind one of "The Wall" from The Game of Thrones. The boat ride is worth it to see the glacier up close and, if one's lucky, to see pieces calf into the lake . That, plus two hours to walk the trails, was plenty of time to take in the sight. Be advised that there are stairs of varying difficult depending on the trail. Yellow is the easiest, and it is accessible for wheelchairs since there's a ramp to viewing areas. We had a blast from the bus tour to the boat tour. The company should emphasize about tipping for the tour guide. We also notice nobody was giving the tip when the other group was going down the bus, we were on the front as the only english speaking being translated so we saw it all..We are the only once who gave them tip since we are use in the US giving tips.
