Expect to get wet so dry-fit clothes or even a swimsuit with running type shorts are good. You wear the harness for the first part of the hiking so be comfortable. I would recommend this tour for sure!! Oh and the lunch at Grandmas is yummy!!! This trip was fantastic - highly recommended for anyone looking to get out into the countryside, get away from the beach crowds, and experience some of Puerto Rico's pristine jungle. Our guides were excellent: Hannah, Ellie, and Sammy picked us up from our hotel on time, clearly communicated what we would be doing, and encouraged us as we climbed up some pretty challenging forest trails. The hike up was not overly difficult, but hard enough to be fun - it involved hiking/climbing/scrambling through the river in many parts (wear good hiking sandals or water shoes!), and up and over rocks. The kind of hike that makes you feel accomplished when you finish a section. Then it was down the waterfall. The setup was easy even for people who have not done any rappelling or climbing before, and Hannah expertly guided everyone through the process and down the rope. Really incredible as you go over the side and start to feel the spray from the water, and then eventually as you're more or less in the waterfall as you make your way down. After a few ziplines to continue back down the mountain, you're back at Grandma's house for some homemade rice and beans, and then a quick 45-minute or so drive back to San Juan. Really fun trip, perfect way to balance out a few days of laying on the beach, and a great way to experience the island's incredible landscape.Best day in PR so far. Our guides, Patricia, Alfonzo, and Sammy were so great. Highly recommend to anyone!

Just came back from Rocaliza Adventure Tours, and my God, did I have so much fun!!!!! This tour is not for the weak! You have to be physically fit in order to survive this adventure. We hiked In the rainforest, climbed up the waterfall, repelled down an 80 foot waterfall, and zip lined close to our starting point. We had the best experience with our tour guides that guided us through out the entire excursion. Patricia, Alfonso, and Sammy are the sweetest and nicest people I have ever met. They instantly treated us like their friends, and they made sure that the crew were safe at all times. I couldn’t have asked for better tour guides! ❤️ After the adventure, we went to Abuela’s house, where she cooked a delicious home-cooked meal for the crew. My boyfriend and I honestly had a wonderful time and would totally do this again. 10/10 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!Patricia, Alfonso, Sammy were great, really enjoyed the tour and their company. Lunch was great as well. Highly recommended!
