Pass By: Nayapul Trekking Starting Point, Baglung Rajmarg, Salyan 33400, Nepal
The trek starts from Pokhara after an hour drive to Nayapul. We pass through sub-tropical valley forests, crossing the Bhurungdi Khola (river) via a bridge to the village of Tikhedhunga. We climb up to the Ulleri Hill with thousands of steps and boulders that continually go upward will really prove a test of our stamina. Overnight in Ulleri.

Day 2: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2, 750 m): (4-5 Hrs.)
Pass By: Annapurna Mountain Range, Nepal
After breakfast, we ascend to the Ghorepani village. Ghorepani is an interesting place with small shops and stalls for selling local products and crafts. The town has two parts: one in a saddle and the other a few hundred feet lower. We stop at the higher part of the Ghorepani village that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri mountains. Since Ghorepani lies quite higher than our previous stop, we begin to feel the chilly weather especially in the evenings. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 3: Poon Hill Hike and Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2, 700 m): (5-6 Hrs.)
Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, Nepal
Poonhill is the best place to have a sunrise view over the Himalayas. So to catch this opportunity we make an early morning climb along the steep trail to the viewpoint of Poon Hill (3, 210m), the most popular trekking destination of the Annapurna region. It is also a great viewpoint to enjoy the amazing views of Mustang, Pokhara and more than 20 highest mountains including the close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After taking photographs and having some coffee or tea, we head to Tadhapani via Ghorepani. We descend through rhododendron forests, pass by spectacular waterfalls along the way and reach Tadapani.
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 4: Trek from Tadapani to Kimche via Ghandruk (1940 m): (4-5 Hrs.) and Drive to Pokhara (823 m)
Pass By: Old Gurung Museum, 5 Kaski, Ghandruk Nepal
From Tadapani, we make a steep descent through the dense and dark forest. This part of the trek will be through a thick forest of old rhododendron trees. When the rhododendron trees are in bloom, these forests actually turn into amazing gardens. By afternoon, depending upon the season of travel, we also get to enjoy cherry blossoms in bloom on the slopes on the other side of the ravine. After trekking some more minutes, we enter the village of Ghandruk, a slope settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by the Gurung community. Along with enjoying the stunningly close-up towering views of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains, we also acquaint ourselves with the simple but rich cultural traditions of the Gurung people at the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk.
After having lunch at Ghandruk, we will descend an hour to Kimche from where we will board on our Jeep for Pokhara.

We left for Nepal in December and completed a trip with a trek. Searching the web we found Sisna Rover Trekking. Dambar (the manager) helped us to find the trek that best suited our needs by answering all our questions. We trusted them and the fantastic guide Max who followed our trek with friendship and discretion. Max was one of the few guides to carry the crampons that saved us in several icy spots). We advise everyone to contact this agency. Don't forget to ask for Max as a guide. Dambar, Max, as promised see you soon in Mustang! Thanks for everything Alessia &Manuel (Italy)We have had a fantastic experience on our 5 day trek. We went via Gandruk, Tadapani to Ghorepani and Poon Hill. We had a very good trek to Poon Hill and Mardi Himal with Sisne Rover. Dambar, the owner of the company, was very responsive to our questions and requests both before and after our arrival in Nepal. Our guide Manoj was very considerate and helpful and provided an excellent alternative when our original plan to trek to ABC after Poon Hill turned out to be too dangerous at the time and made the right decisions regarding the itinerary and places to stay on trek. Our porters were also very competent and friendly. After the trek, Dambar rearranged our travels from Pokhara to Kathmandu numerous times without complaint. We can highly recommend Sisne Rover and would use this company again. We just completed a 4 day trek to poon hill with Sisne Rover and guide Milan which has been the most amazing way to experience Nepal. We just completed a 4 day trek to poon hill with Sisne Rover and guide Milan which has been the most amazing way to experience Nepal. We had fantastic service when we enquired in the office which was much better than the 3 other companies we tried in pokhara which is why we went with Sisne Rover, lots of information without any pressure which we liked. They seemed to have the most knowledge about which way to do the route within our time frame and what weather conditions were like advising us so we had the right equipment such as crampons as there was snow at the top level, they helped us source it as well. Milan was our guide who we met the night before making sure we had everything we needed and communicating really well with us. Milan was a fantastic guide over the whole 4 days, we always felt looked after and he was a very friendly and fun person to spend the time with but also knew when to give us the privacy we wanted as a couple. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and farming we encountered along the way and the way of life in Nepal which we were really interested in and we learnt so much about mountain life from him which made the trip unforgettable for us. We stayed in excellent accomodation with good food and hot showers which was important as it was a very cold time of year with snow at high altitude. We would recommend this tour with Sisne Rover and Milan to anyone, it was the most beautiful route through real Nepali villages and countryside and so fascinating to see the wildlife such as Yaks, vultures, deer, buffalo and endless types of crops, trees and flowers. An excellent introduction to trekking and Nepal, we will return for more hopefully soon with Milan and Sisne Rover.I did the Poon Hill trek with a friend in January 2020. We chose the 5 day trek. I did the Poon Hill trek with a friend in January 2020. We chose the 5 day trek. Our guide Sagar was great. He is thoughtful, very knowledgeable about everything we asked and passionate about the mountains. The trek was beautiful and very smoothly organised. I would definitely recommend it! My friend had to leave after the Poon Hill trek so our guide took her to the nearest village to get a jeep back and we continued to do the Mardi Himal as well. It was amazing. The views are stunning and it is a very enjoyable hike. Thanks you so much!We went on the Pool Hill trek (4N/5D) with our guide Manoj in January 2020. The trek was perfectly organized by the company. We went on the Pool Hill trek (4N/5D) with our guide Manoj in January 2020. The trek was perfectly organized by the company. Manoj, our very experienced guide, was the perfect trekking partner and always helped us with everything. He gave advice to us whenever we needed it and he showed his total disposition to change the initial plans when we considered it. Overall, the atmosphere during the trek was beautiful and we will again come to Sisne Rover and trek with Manoj if we ever have the chance.
