No samba lessons as advertised. Many drunk patrons yelling, distracting during songs and dances; I complained to the management who did nothing about it. I asked for a refund and was denied. We've been to shows all over the world. This was by far the worst. While there were some impressive and talented performers, the atmosphere and attitude of the employees ruined the experience. For over $100 USD/ticket, we expected at least a place where we wouldn't have to leave early for fear of the rowdy drunks and beligerant patrons. Stay away. Stay away, indeed!Hi attended show tonight a great performance by the dancers. However communication with the admin was terrible booked on line sent 3 emails to confirm and no response. We saw this show 4 years ago, when it was still in club on a dance floor. They are now in a theater which was nice. The show flies through the history of different regions and time periods in Brazil. My husband is Brazilian and was able to elaborate on some details. I suppose it would be nice for other visitors to know what they were seeing though - like a little introduction before each number. But, maybe that would disrupt the pace of the show. But it was a lot of fun with lots of energy! The costumes are good and dancers energetic. However, the theater is smaller than even high school auditoriums. And frankly, the overall effect is very similar to high school performances. And pricing is like Cirque du soleil. If I had paid $25, I would have given four and a half stars. The da...

And pricing is like Cirque du soleil. If I had paid $25, I would have given four and a half stars. The dancing was good but all styles were merged together with no commentary of what's going on. Overall disappointing experience. Our group arrived a little late so we missed the beginning and any introduction if there was one. The theater is small so everyone is pretty close to the stage. Our group arrived a little late so we missed the beginning and any introduction if there was one. The theater is small so everyone is pretty close to the stage. Some of the dancers come down into the aisles at times. The dancers are energetic and seemed to be enjoying their performances. There were many costume changes, all of which were pretty elaborate. I see this as the type of touristy thing that you have to do once while traveling and this show was better than many other activities aimed at tourists.
