The Sheldrick Wildlife was beautiful. Seeing how wonderful all the animals are cared for was great. Hearing some of the stories how the babies came to be there were sad, however heartwarming to hear their release plans. I realize the significance of limiting the number of times people can access the area is between 11-12pm, however 200 people were a lot at once and it was difficult at times to see the animals up close. Thank goodness for zoom lense. The Giraffe Center was nicely set-up for viewing and feeding the giraffe. A bit disappointing that none of the staff really gave any information, so I ended up asking my guide/driver a lot of questions. The Karen Blixen Museum is another beautiful, well cared for place. The guide was super informed about the history of not only Karen Blixen, but had fantastic facts and information for my curious questions about the land and people. Once finished with the guide, you are lead to an area to view/purchase various types of art and crafts from local artists. There is a tent to enjoy some ice cream or eat a hot dog. I believe there was an opportunity to sign up for pottery and some other classes. HINT: wait until the large groups of people are occupied inside the house or in the artist area if you'd like some great pictures of the house and grounds. 😂 All in all the tour was good, the drivers were great answering questions and explaining things. My only complete, when I looked at the tour online, the price said $48usd. When I booked it, it ended up being $80usd: I thought, no problem because it covered the entry fees and drivers. (This wasn't presented clearly at the time of booking). HOWEVER, once we arrived at the first destination, the driver/guide informed me they hadn't received the entry fee payments from me....SO I ended up paying another 5000 shillings! Needless to say, I was a bit flustered, so would have appreciated everything clearly outlined in the booking site. The visits to all three attractions in this tour were wonderful and as described. The visits to all three attractions in this tour were wonderful and as described. Our driver made contact with us and met us in the lobby of our hotel as arranged. The only disappointing thing about our experience was that we were asked to pay the driver for admission fees into all three places on top of the amount we paid when booking online. The description of the tour stated that the Giraffe Sanctuary admission was not included, but did not say anything about the elephant orphanage or Karen Blixen museum fees, so we presumed they were included in the tour prices. We had to pay an additional USD $47 each to continue with the tour.James is fantastic, funny and helpful. I highly recommend this tour with him. It's a wonderful experience

Make sure you call or WhatsApp a day or 2 before and confirm. If no response, I would recommend you rebook elsewhere. I don't know why Viator isn't removing these vendors who do this.Excellent experience. The guide was helpful and efficient, both sanctuaries are excellent, we really enjoyed the day.
