After 20 minutes driving with 8 seats air-conditioned minivan you will reach Forza D’Agrò, a real and authentic small Sicilian village. Take a Walking tour of the old town and visit the places where The Godfather movie was played.
After a Walking tour of the village with explanation of Sicilian authentic culture and way of leaving You will drive towards Savoca, the second Sicilian small village where the movie was played. The famous Bar Vitelli where Michael Corleone met the father of his future wife Apollonia. Then walk 5 minutes to reach Saint Lucy Church where they got married. While taking the walking tour Your Guide will introduce you the real history of Sicilian Mafia, how it grows up and spread very fast all around Italy.
You will listen about the real structure (cupola), about its Boss and about the Mafia clan wars to control the territory. We took this trip with our two teenage sons and highly recommend it. Antonio was a fabulous guide, answering all our questions and giving us a detailed explanation of the history and culture of the region. Lunch was delicious - the trip was a highlight of our stay.

Valerio was a great driver & guide, very informative, helpful and friendly. It was very interesting and the scenery was amazing. The lunch was simple but delicious and so was the house white wine 😁.

Seriously one of the best tours I ever had thanks to Antonio the tourguide! He was full of information about The Godfather, mafia, but also history of Sicily, whatever question the group threw at him, he had a story or the information to tell, was just a super nice and fun guy and easy to talk to...

I’ll definitely try his limoncello recipe he shared with us over lunch, which by the way was really good as well! Super easy to book as well, nice contact with the owners to organize pickup and questions I had beforehand and I especially liked that it was a small group, all COVID safety measures were kept! We had a very good guide and it was the end of the season so only me and my boyfriend were on the tour. I had never watched the movie ( my boyfriend a huge fan ) but that didn’t matter as I saw lots of beautiful places ..... my boyfriend loved it !!! If you like them movie this is a must see tour!
