Our tour guide Javid was very nice and friendly during our trip. Highly recommended tour! We enjoy the trip and its all worth the money you pay. We’ll definitely book this trip again. We have unlimited water during the trip. The car was very clean and have a very nice interior.

Good communication with Mujahid from the minute I booked. Warm and welcoming, great guide on the way to inland sea, made us aware of the options, informed us of what was happening. Stopped and made sure we could get pictures, offered us all the things we could do (which we did). Patient and accom...
Good communication with Mujahid from the minute I booked. Warm and welcoming, great guide on the way to inland sea, made us aware of the options, informed us of what was happening. Stopped and made sure we could get pictures, offered us all the things we could do (which we did). Patient and accommodating letting me put my GoPro on the exterior of the car at the dunes. Would definitely do it again. Done camel ride, sand boarding, dune bashing and sat for the sunset.AliciaW1174

I was so excited for this tour after reading the reviews here and was so disappointed. A different guide would probably make for a vastly different experience, so read this with that in mind. The company doesn’t allow for solos to join shared tours for the sunset one, and I really wanted to see the sunset in the desert so I basically paid for two people just for myself. I am a naturally very chatty person and have travelled the world solo, but every time I tried to start a conversation with the guide (it was just him and I in the car), he looked and sounded annoyed at me. He answered my questions with a tone that implied he thought I was a complete moron and that he wanted to be anywhere else than doing this tour. He did point out certain things on the drive to the camel place I guess in an attempt to “guide” and then quickly dumped me with the camel guy. After the camel ride, which was a couple minute “ride” back and forth with pictures, there was a place to sit and drink tea. I declined and was given the tea anyone I guess so he could sit and chat with his friends while I sat in a chair not drinking the tea. He then got up and started walking away without saying anything to me about where he was going, if I should follow, etc. which was repeated at each stop. He just got into the car with no words when he decided we were done somewhere. There were moments where I got a smile or a chuckle or he said something in a kind tone, he did take pictures of me at each stop and I felt absolutely safe with him while driving through the sand dunes. It wasn’t all terrible, but these were moments rather than the tour. When we stopped for sand boarding, which I had already said I wasn’t sure about, two girls were sand boarding and having what looked like a great time with their guide. However, they were also having to hike through the immense sand back up these very large dunes. I have ankles that are held together with metal after various injuries and don’t do well on inclines on pavement because of pain let alone trying to trudge up a large sand dune. So when they offered me the sand board, I asked if there was a smaller bill I could do it on because I wanted to try it but also save myself the pain of climbing back up a large dune. I received no answer other than a scoff and his back as the board was handed back to the two girls. We stayed - again assuming so he could talk to his friend - and I played photographer for the girls. The second to last stop was Inland Sea which was beautiful. We apparently had a lot of time to kill before sunset, so I sat by the water and was able to relax and breathe a bit. We then headed to the sunset spot. It was cloudy so it wasn’t the desert sunset I was imagining, but I still got some great pictures and color in the sky before the sun fell behind the clouds. I was not given the chance to see if more color came out above the clouds because as soon as the sun dropped below the clouds, he walked to the car without a word. I was exhausted at this point from trying to make this less of an awkward and painful experience, so I just watched the scenery as we drove back towards Doha and my hotel. There was not a single word spoken between the two of us for the whole drive back. TOTAL SILENCE. He made no attempt whatsoever to speak. As soon as I recognized the part of town I was in, I made up some excuse and got out of the car literally at a stoplight. The whole experience was so horrible, walking 20 minutes to my hotel in 100+ degree heat was preferable to another 5 minutes in that car. Again, take my experience worth a grain of salt as this is essentially a review of the guide rather than the tour itself. The sand dune driving was a lot of fun and the scenery was beautiful. I would caution solo travelers against this tour/company unless they can be assured of a pleasant guide. Bottom line - this was a painful and horribly awkward way to spend a few hours and a couple hundred dollars.Anders L

Fantastic trip. Fun, exiting, Highly recommended. The guide of the tour was a rock star. Strong driving skills, positive, high knowledge and gave good advise about Doha on the tour. Thanks a lot Khalifa for a great day

An amazing experience. Our guide Saleem was an expert driver and made the tour so much fun. His skills at the sand dunes was much appreciated. He also took great pictures and pointed out all points of interest. Definitely recommend.

Naveed was a great tour guide! 4 of us booked for a half day tour, he communicated with obout pickup and was there on time. Had so much fun on the tour and did not feel rushed at all. He let ua take as much time as we wanted and took great pictures of us.
