After reading all the good reviews we decided to choose Back to Iceland Travel and didn't regret it. Anton is a great guide, very flexible, tells funny stories, always makes sure that everyone is fine, asks about preferred lunch time and location etc. You can learn a lot about Iceland from him. The Minibus is very comfortable and clean. We're only 4 people in total (August 2021) so it was almost like a private tour. We were thinking of doing Golden circle tour on our own with a rented car to have more flexibility but at the end we decided to take a tour and rent a car a couple of days later for other destinations. It was a very good decision after all. The all the spots included in the tour were pretty busy but Anton knows exactly where to go and when to avoid biggest crowds. There were only 3 of us on this tour and because of this, our guide Anton left it up to us to enjoy each area for almost as much time as we liked. This is a great way to see some of the must see sights without worrying about where you are, directions etc. if you were on your own.Although we were the only people that had actually turned up for our booking that morning, the trip still went ahead. Although we were the only people that had actually turned up for our booking that morning, the trip still went ahead. So this was like a personal tour of the golden circle... The fab thing about the minibuses is that unlike the large coaches you see its much faster disembarking etc so you spend more time actually at the sites and not sitting waiting for the bus to fill/empty... Loved our day on the Golden Circle tour with Siggi. We were in a mini bus with just 10 of us. What a awe inspiring day, Iceland is beautiful and we enjoyed the history and stories along the way. We were never rushed, had plenty of time to explore, even when it snowed on us, we had a wonderful day - highly recommend going with this company, a small company is such a nicer experience than a big bus full of people. They warn you that after seeing Iceland that you catch the disease and you will want to come back to Iceland - it is so true - we are ready to go Back to Iceland!Anton was a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable and explained so about the area to us! I wish we could tour the entire country with him! We cant wait to go to other areas on our next trip to Iceland.

We booked the Golden Circle and South Shore tour, and we loved both so much. Anton was our tour guide, and he was amazing. He explained everything so well, and knew the answers to all of our questions. He did not rush the tours, and allowed for us to explore and take in the scenic views. Anton did not just show us views but when we stopped at rest stops he even recommended traditional food for us to try. He as well included many jokes and made the tours even more fun and interesting. After, his tours we will for sure be returning back to Iceland and when we will come back we will book with Back to Iceland Travel.
