Graffiti Tour in La Candelaria Bogotá with Transportation
Overview
As with graffiti everywhere else, Bogotá’s history with the art has often been tense. But great art can overcome negative labels. Right now, no one would call it vandalism. It has struggled but has earned its place and the city is better for it. The mixture of social and political commentary with a twist of local and foreign styles make Bogotá’s graffiti truly a sight to behold.
Join us in this tour not only of Colombia’s history as told by art but a tour of Bogotá as a curated museum of amazing artists!

My friends and I spent two weeks traveling throughout Colombia (Bogota, Medellin, and Cartagena) and upon reflecting, this tour (specifically with Luis) was the best tour we had during our entire 2 week stay. Not only was Luis a great tour guide, he also had incredible knowledge of each piece of art we visited as well as tips for other places to check out in Bogota and beyond. From the tour itself, to the knowledge of independent artists, to just a great time talking to Luis in general, this tour was definitely one of the highlights of our entire trip. I would highly recommend this tour for the beginning of your stay in Bogota. We enjoyed the tours. We enjoyed the tours. We started with the graffiti tour, which gave us a look at some of the great street art, and added a level of detail about the artists and the stories behind the works that added real value. We did the walking tour of the central area of Bogota, which gave us the history to add depth and meaning to what we saw around us in the city. One goal of the walk was to give us more to think about when you hear "Colombia" than simply Pablo and cocaine. The tour succeeded in doing that. The last tour we did was to the salt cathedral. It was much more than we expected. It was awesome, in the truest sense of inspiring awe. All our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Natalia's walking tour was especially nice.
