Grand Canyon Tour with Hoover Dam and Joshua Tree
Overview
Live a unique experience visiting the west side of the Grand Canyon, land of the Hualapai natives. This tour will provide us with landscapes and enclaves such as the imposing Hoover Dam, an engineering masterpiece, Lake Mead, the largest artificial reservoir in North America, the Mojave desert and different volcanic formations in Arizona. You will have the opportunity to take the helicopter tour at Grand Canyon West if you upgrade your tour. This helicopter tour will take you 3, 500 feet to the bottom of the Canyon. You will disembark from the helicopter and spend 20 to 30 minutes exploring the landing cliff.The activity is done with a guide who speaks Spanish.

Stop At: Las Vegas Blvd Trail, Las Vegas, NV
We will pick you up at the hotel where you are staying and we will start the tour towards the western part of the Grand Canyon, located 192 km from the city of Las Vegas. Your guide will tell you about the different points of interest that we will find on the trip.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Hoover Dam Bypass, U.S. Route 93, Las Vegas, NV
The first stop will be at the Lake Mead viewpoint, where we will appreciate the views of this artificial reservoir created by the collision of the Colorado River with the wall of the Hoover Dam. We will access the dam to appreciate two marvels of engineering, the Bridge that crosses the dam and the Hoover architecture, Art Deco style. The next stop will be for a breakfast coffee where you cannot miss the classic American donuts, is our advice.

Stop At: Dolan Springs, Dolan Springs, Arizona
We resume the march and already within the great desert extension we make a detour into the deepest and most rugged America something similar to the Breaking Bad series, it is the town of Dolan Spring, a classic of the Far West. We are only 80 km away from our final destination, when in an unexpected way we enter the forest of Joshua trees, a native species of the Mojave Desert.

We have reached our destination The Grand Canyon West, this part of the canyon consists of two viewpoints El Mirador Del Aguila, where the Skywalk and El Mirador Del Guano are located, where we will make stops so you can enjoy one of the greatest wonders of the planet.
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
Stop At: Las Vegas Blvd Trail, Las Vegas, NV
Once we finish lunch we start our way back to Las Vegas and back to the hotel.

My wife and I went on the Grand Canyon tour with Hoover Dam and Joshua tree. Lankun aka Mama was our tour guide. She arrived on time to pick us up from our hotel. During the tour she made sure to give us as much information as possible and also took lots of awesome pictures of us during the process. Lunch was provided and she made sure that we stayed hydrated. The tour was worth every cent and Lankun did everything that she said she was going to do. She even cracked some jokes in the process lol. I signed up for this tour because I didn't want to be on the big bus tour. Lankun was amazing. She knows so much! She got us to the Grand Canyon early before there were a lot of people and she took amazing photos of our family. Best tour I have ever experienced!!!

My absolute favorite 😍 part of the tour was the helicopter tour that my sister and I did. This trip was in memory of our dad. We took the very same trip as him and his siblings 2 months before he passed. "Mama" made this trip a trip to remember even more. She took the most amazing pictures of myself and my sister so that when I pass my 3 boys can go to each of the places that we did and replicate the same trip. It was very unexpected but SO SO SO welcomed and appreciated more than she knows. I HIGHLY recommend her if you are looking for MORE than just a "guide". She made this trip so nice for us that I have already arrived home and am talking to the husband about planning a trip for myself and him with her when it cools down. Not only was she great with us, but we had an elderly couple with us on our trip and the patience, compassion, and all around caring and attention she paid to that couple was fantastic as well. She insured their safety on the uneven ground and made sure that they was able to stop when they needed but didn't slow us younger ones down either. I can NOT say enough good things about her!!! I could go on and on. You will not be disappointed with Mama at all. BoOK your trip with her before she is all booked up!!!!323svenf
