Unser Führer war sehr nett, aber er wusste leider so gut wie gar nichts über die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Samarkand. Wir haben dann in unserem Reiseführer gelesen bzw. bei anderen Gruppen mitgehört. So hatten wir uns das nicht vorgestellt.

So hatten wir uns das nicht vorgestellt.サマルカンドは多分これまで訪れたことのある海外の都市で一番美しい街だと思います。お土産を買うならバザールやレギスタン広場よりも、レギスタン広場とアフラシャブの丘を結ぶイスラム・カリモフ通りがいいと思います。通りの両サイドに新しく整備されたお土産店が沢山ならんでいます。何故かgooglemapにはまだ記載されていませんでした。ある程度広めのお店を選ぶとゆっくりと品定めが出来ます。お店の人も声は掛けてきますが、しつこく品物を勧めてきたり、買わないと出さないぞみたいな事はありません。品物の値段や品質も素直に教えてくれます。私は値段は適正だと感じました。支払いはドル払いですが、桁数が多く下の桁を...
サマルカンドは多分これまで訪れたことのある海外の都市で一番美しい街だと思います。お土産を買うならバザールやレギスタン広場よりも、レギスタン広場とアフラシャブの丘を結ぶイスラム・カリモフ通りがいいと思います。通りの両サイドに新しく整備されたお土産店が沢山ならんでいます。何故かgooglemapにはまだ記載されていませんでした。ある程度広めのお店を選ぶとゆっくりと品定めが出来ます。お店の人も声は掛けてきますが、しつこく品物を勧めてきたり、買わないと出さないぞみたいな事はありません。品物の値段や品質も素直に教えてくれます。私は値段は適正だと感じました。支払いはドル払いですが、桁数が多く下の桁を端折って提示される事が多いスムよりも価格が直感的につかめるのでここではドル払いをお勧めします。ウズベキスタン旅行の際は両替用以外に買い物用にドルを持って行くと便利です。お店によって力を入れている品物が異なるので、複数の店をアウトレットモール感覚で訪れると楽しいと思います。私は気に入った店で大変納得の行く布製品を購入出来ました。シャブ・バザールでお土産購入を考えている方も、バザールは同じ通りの終点近くにありますから、これらの店に立ち寄りながら価格や品質を確かめておくと役に立つと思います。This is the highlight of my trip in Samarkand. My guide, Elyor, is the most knowledgeable and patient guide one could ever have. I never had a dull moment with him as we were retracing back ancient history. We had an amazing guide (Adam) he is really hospitable and loves to talk about his country and we really got on well with him. He was at the meeting point and never rushed once, we could take things at a slow pace, eat when we wanted to eat, stop for refreshments when we wanted and it was lovely to get to know him. It was more like meeting a new friend than just having a tour guide. He took us to all the important sites by foot and explained enough information to satisfy our curiosity.
