We are a family with two teenage children and we included a visit to Pompeii during our Sorrento vacation. For this we booked a private tour with Linda. It was an excellent choice. Linda gave us a great two hours through the city and gave us a lot of exciting details. We can absolutely recommend Linda.Linda was knowledgeable about the Pompeii ruins, and fun. She spoke good English. It could have been better if she had obtained the admission tickets (appropriately reimbursed) but instead we had to purchase them in advance online. Recommended.

Recommended.Linda was the most amazing guide ever. She is very knowledgeable, easy to find in a busy area, small group with many personalities and she adapted. I would recommend her to everyone I know! Went for an afternoon tour and Linda was great. Don’t hesitate. Book with Linda!

We booked a guided tour of Pompeii with Linda in advance of our holiday in Sorrento. Her communication is great and we met Linda at the train station, where she was waiting, exactly as arranged on the day and time she had recommended to avoid the crowds. Pompeii is vast, and without a guide you could waste most of the day wandering through the streets. Many buildings were closed, without enough staff to cover, or are undergoing renovation. Linda knew exactly where to go to see the important Pompeii highlights and, even if there was a queue outside, a quick nod to security had us whisked through. Linda has an engaging, friendly style of presentation, often asking "Why do you think ...", and "Bravo!" when you get the answer right, rather than listing fact after fact. I would imagine she is great with teenagers, but it worked just as well with us. Although we had booked her for two hours, we did not feel pressured. She left us plenty of time to take photos and ask questions of our own, and insisted on showing her final special highlights, even though she overran the time we had booked. We really enjoyed our tour which went far too quickly. Normally, this is where my TA review would have ended. However, a disastrous accident later that day left me in hospital, with insurance papers and mobile phone charger back at the hotel, struggling to understand the Italian medical staff. That evening, I send a WhatsApp to Linda to ask if she could help translate. By next morning, Linda had retrieved the essential items from the hotel and was on her way to the hospital, to meet with the orthopedic consultant I was due to see at 9:30. She then helped my wife obtain some money and purchase crutches from the local pharmacy. After being discharged, she arranged with the hotel to have me transported back there. She couldn't do enough to help us, but refused on numerous occasions to accept any money for her time and travel expenses. Linda isn't just a tour guide; she is now a true and honest friend to us.
