Loved the whole experience. Was fitted for an ebike and helmet and took a short ride to get comfortable with the bike. Rode off. It was a group but my husband and I were it today... essentially a private tour. We heard and saw so much of the Burren and Janet was very knowledgeable and willing to share info. Saw karst landscape, cave ins, birds, plants, tombs, stone forts and my husband loved his lunch of a great carrot soup.A group of five of us did this tour. A group of five of us did this tour. The bikes were excellent and very comfortable. The itinerary was a perfect length. Janet our guide was phenomenal. She was so knowledgable and had such expertise on the historical and geographical aspects of the area. We saw so much that we would have otherwise missed had Janet not pointed it out. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it!If you can ride a bike, you can do this tour. (If you can't ride a bike, don't pretend that you can because we had 2 people in another group who needed to ride in the van because they didn't do bike riding.) If you can ride a bike, you can do this tour. (If you can't ride a bike, don't pretend that you can because we had 2 people in another group who needed to ride in the van because they didn't do bike riding.) A very nice time outdoors, spent biking through the Irish countryside. A nice lunch at a local cafe (self-pay) in the middle of the tour. Not enough time to see the attached ruins and archeological dig, but you can always come back to see it (as we did after the tour was done). Beware the Irish weather however. It was cloudy and overcast the entire time we rode, but luckily no rain. We ended up having a great time and would highly recommend this tour if you're in the area.I was part of a group of friends who meet for outdoor activities and we booked an afternoon's cycle tour with Janet in early Spring. I was part of a group of friends who meet for outdoor activities and we booked an afternoon's cycle tour with Janet in early Spring. Advance communication was excellent with Janet ensuring everyone had a bike that was up to the task-either their own or her rental push bikes or electric bikes. No sales pressure, just lots of helpful advice. Janet's pacing on the day, dealing with the weather and with the consequences of a lazy group who wanted a coffee stop in the back of beyond were superb. She was also a very informative guide,as I am already quite familiar with the Burren but still saw and heard about new spots from Janet.Highly recommend the trip to anyone. The choice of bikes make it a good option for groups where there are varying degrees of fitness as all can go out together. Enjoy the ride!Janet gave us an excellent introduction to the ebike experience and adjusted the bikes to fit us before riding off into the countryside. Janet gave us an excellent introduction to the ebike experience and adjusted the bikes to fit us before riding off into the countryside. As a novice, I had a mini review from Janet to make my ride easier midway through the ride. Perfect. We stopped for photos and historical background to what we were seeing in the way of ancient structures and geological explanations for the unusual landscape. All in all, a pleasant afternoon in an interesting corner of the world with an enjoyable guide
