He took us to Carera national park and we were delighted to see so many beautiful birds and monkeys. We saw bats, Toucans, trogon, howl monkey, white face monkey, square monkey. If there is something specific you want to see, Ronald will go above and beyond to make sure you have a memorable experience. He is a wealth of knowledge with over 20 years of experience. I will definitely book another tour next time we visit. We had an amazing experience with the opportunity to see white face monkey, howler monkey, several different bird specifies, a huge millipede, bats, mushrooms, iguanas, ant colonies, and more! Our guide was more than knowledgeable and experienced and even helped us see a plethora of wildlife despite our rather noisy young children. We found the tour a total success!! 🙌It was all good. It was all good. Ronald was honest and sincere. And, he was good at guiding and spotting even the smallest of birds. He knows the sounds of the forest well also. He had bug repellent when we ran low (his was better and more plentiful). Also he had extra water for us. He took us in his car to several other spots with less people and noise and more monkeys and fauna. He was quiet and working hard at listening and looking. This is how Ronald was… we were the last customers for his day so he took us to the buss stop (we had taxied down to the Park from San Jose) which was on his way home for no extra charge. We ate a late lunch with him on the way and he would not let us pay for his lunch! He was a sincere honest helpful person. He treats people like people, rather than Guide’ Tourist’. We have a friend now in Costa Rica, Robert. I don’t take many pictures. I’m attaching just a few photos only but, we saw and others photographed many birds and hauler and white faced monkeys. Lyn in one picture is the happy photographer. We had a wonderful time having Ronald as our guide, very knowledgeable and informative, his English is excellent. We seen many things from birds to wildlife. I recommend his services to anyone.

We had a wonderful tour of Carara National Park with Ronald! We were able to see a ton of wild animals, including bats, tarantulas, toucans, macaws, agoutis and tons of other unique and colorful birds. After he knew we were interested in birds especially, he was able to show us so many rare birds that we were especially interested in, and had so much knowledge about their calls and other information about the various birds. Ronald was patient and very knowledgeable and helped us get some great pictures of these animals as well! I definitely recommend going with him through the park as he was able to spot so much wildlife I wouldn’t have spotted and had a careful eye, even for the smallest bugs and animals (like the lizard we spotted). We had a fantastic time and will be reaching out to him again for our next trip back to Costa Rica!
