Home to the stunning Hotel Indigo and Prison Green, where convicts were executed in Durham, the historic street of Old Elvet is where travellers will hear about Britain's first (and most notorious) female serial killer.

Had an amazing hour and a half walk round Durham with Tom. Very entertaining guy, telling tales of notorious folk and showing us parts of Durham we would never have found on our own. Brilliant time. If you're going to be in Durham at all, do book a tour with him, it's well worth it.
